Call for Better Art Stories: Submit your artwork to inspire positive change

Jan 8, 2025Project news

Showcase your artwork and help raise awareness around critical issues linked to the environmental transition!

ACCTING is excited to launch the “Better Art Stories” campaign, aiming to showcase artworks that trigger behavioural change, promote social inclusion, and resolve conflicts.
As part of our ongoing commitment to researching what hinders and helps behavioural change of specifically marginalised populations, we saw how art can play a positive role in many respects. We now want to illustrate this conclusion by launching this better art stories campaign, showcasing what is possible and inspire both artists, activists and authorities. We are inviting artists and creatives to share their work that aligns with ACCTING’s objectives.

Why participate?

  • Amplify your voice: Your work will be featured on the ACCTING website and social media channels, reaching a broad audience across Europe and beyond.
  • Inspire change: Help raise awareness and drive action around critical issues like environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and equity in environmental transitions.
  • Exhibit your work at ACCTING’s Final Conference: Your artwork will be displayed at the ACCTING Final Conference taking place in Brussels on April 2025, offering further exposure and recognition.

We’re looking for artworks that:

Engage with key themes: Your work should address one or more of the following subjects:

      • Climate action
      • Biodiversity
      • Clean energy
      • Sustainable food (Farm to Fork)
      • Sustainable mobility
      • Social inclusion and equity in environmental transitions
      • Environmental education and awareness
      • Participation and governance
      • Citizen engagement in sustainability

Feature vulnerable communities: We’re particularly interested in works that involve or highlight marginalised or vulnerable populations.

Use diverse art forms: Artworks can include murals, photography, sculpture, theatre, mixed media, writing, dance, digital art, or any other form of creative expression.
